Hello everyone! I’m Oleksandr, a senior specialist at HeatShell. I know facades inside and out—no joke. You could say I didn’t choose this field; it chose me. My father took me on as an assistant in his crew when I was just 15.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve insulated thousands of square metres of facade, working on both high-rise buildings and private homes. Technology, projects, and countries have changed, but one principle from my father has stayed with me: do it right, no shortcuts.

Bonds (~3% annually): you might earn around £1,850. Stocks (~6% annually): potentially around £3,820. Facade insulation with design: you gain on heating savings and increase your property value by about £38,000–£55,000. Why is insulation the most profitable? Guaranteed Savings On average, heating costs are around £2,000 per year. With proper insulation, you can save around £1,000–£1,500 annually. Over three years, that’s £3,000–£4,500. Increase in Property Value According to Zoopla, a well-insulated facade can add 5–10% to a property’s value. If your home is worth £350,000, that’s a bump of £17,500–£35,000. What is the lifespan of the insulation? At least 25–30 years with proper installation.
Does insulation reduce my indoor living space? No, it’s installed externally, so your interior space stays the same.
Can insulation be done in winter? We recommend temperatures above +5°C to ensure the best quality finish.
Do you provide a warranty? Yes, we offer an official warranty of 5 to 10 years, depending on the materials and method used.
Which quality standards do you follow? All work complies with UK Building Regulations Part L and BS EN 13501-1.
Is there a risk of mould after insulation? No. Modern ventilation and vapor-barrier technologies prevent this.
Can I choose my own facade design? Absolutely. We’ll provide design options and help find what suits you best.
What if my facade is damaged? We’ll assess and repair any problems before insulating.
Do I have to move out during insulation? Not at all. The work is all external, so you can stay comfortably at home.
Are there hidden costs? No. All costs are clearly stated in the contract, with no hidden fees.
